Arra Bella Rose is a writer, artist,

photographer, life-long cat owner, and passionate cat advocate. Soon after adopting two cats from a local rescue shelter, she discovered something unusual about them. Sometimes, instead of meowing, they make funny sounds. Smokey "erts" and Bandit "yowls".

One day, while Arra was writing, Smokey decided to try to speak. He sat on her bed and erted and erted and erted at her. He erted so  much that he inspired her to write her first  children's book, Ert Cat.
